This 4day/3night journey sails just a few times a year and provides guests with comfortable cabins and delicious Amazon cuisine. The experience involves frequent excursions into more remote tributaries and local villages, provides safe opportunities for swimming and hiking expeditions to explore the remote Pacaya Samiria reserve’s incredible fauna and flora at close hand.
A rare opportunity to take a high-quality river cruise deep into the Peruvian Amazon combined with a comprehensive wellness programme. The experience includes all meals and three nights aboard the recently refitted MC Delfin II, which provides comfortable wood-panelled twin cabins, silent A/C units and private bathrooms with hot showers.
Uniquely, the journey provides massage, yoga classes both aboard and on a river beach, as well as meditation and jungle cleansing sessions.
You will be picked up and dropped off at the airport in Iquitos, transported by bus to and from the river port town of Nauta before being escorted aboard the vessel to begin the voyage into the remote Pacaya Samiria reserve- an area of protected, flooded forest that is roughly the size of a small Central American country and offers countless opportunities to observe one of the planet’s richest habitats.
The luxurious boat will be your home, but the journey involves frequent excursions in skiff vessels and dugout canoes, as well as expeditions on foot into the jungle, swimming in safe, pure locations and visits to pristine beaches and remote river communities.
