Sol Y Luna is located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, Peru, at 2800 m (9186 ft) above sea level. The buildings feature elements of the Sacred Valley - trunks, beams, adobe bricks and stones and the aim here is to live in balance and harmony with the natural and cultural environment. Rooms are laden with colourful Peruvian folk art and works by local artists. Outside sits the inexhaustible beauty of the Andean scenery, and the accommodations are looked upon by the surrounding mountains and visited by joyful birds. The hotel’s Killa Wasi restaurant and Chicha Wasi bar capture the tastes and spirit of the Sacred Valley's simple, rustic cuisine and give them a contemporary interpretation. Sol Y Luna is committed to real responsibility, both social and environmental, within the Sacred Valley. Its kitchen and use of ingredients and products promotes the development of organic farming in the area, improving its quality so that it may grow beyond local markets. Additional facilities include a spa, treatments, sauna, gym, yoga, tai chi and beautiful gardens.
