Patagonia and the End of the World




Patagonia is the name given to the Southern Cone of South America, incorporating parts of Chile and Argentina. Mountains, rivers, glaciers, forests and lakes make Patagonia a grown-up adventure playground and its lengthy coastline, dotted with fjords and islands, is home to a host of wildlife such as penguins and whales.

    Explore Buenos Aires’ lively barrios and most important cultural sites.
  • Day 2: Buenos Aires
    Free day then enjoy an evening at a traditional tango show.
  • Day 3: Buenos Aires
    Free day at leisure.
  • Day 4: Ushuaia
    Fly to Ushuaia.
  • Day 5: Ushuaia
    Enjoy an excursion in Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only park with a shoreline in Argentina. Take an optional ride on the End of the World train.
  • Day 6: Crucero Australis Cruise
    Take a cruise to one of the most remote parts of the planet. Explore Southern Patagonia and the Tierra del Fuego archipelago by boat, and marvel at one of the most breath-taking wilderness regions in the world.
  • Day 7: Crucero Australis Cruise
    Sail through Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where, weather permitting, you will go ashore.
  • Day 8: Crucero Australis Cruise
    Sail along the Northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to reach Pia Fjord, where you will disembark to take a short hike to gain a panoramic view of the spectacular Pia Glacier, which extends from the mountaintops down to the sea.
  • Day 9: Crucero Australis Cruise
    Sail through Cockburn Channel to anchor in Chico Sound. Traveling in well-equipped Zodiac boats, you will explore Alakaluf Fjord and enjoy the view of Piloto and Nena Glaciers from the sea.
  • Day 10: Punta Arenas
    Fly to Punta Arenas to begin the next stage of your journey.
  • Day 11: Torres del Paine
    Explore the Torres del Paine National Park in Chile and adventure through all its natural wonders.
  • Day 12: Torres del Paine
    Free day at leisure.
  • Day 13: Torres del Paine
    Free day at leisure.
  • Day 14: Torres del Paine
    Free day at leisure.
  • Day 15: El Calafate
    Cross the border back into Argentina and travel to El Calafate.
  • Day 16: El Calafate
    Free day at leisure. Options include sailing among icebergs on the Estancia Cristina tour or Ice Rivers Express, or enjoy the ancient landscape of El Chalten.
  • Day 17: El Calafate
    Visit the Perito Moreno glacier, a colossal natural landmark that is one of the few glaciers in the world that is continuing to grow.
  • Day 18: Buenos Aires
    Fly to Buenos Aires. End of tour.
